Please allow me to introduce myself, I'm a man of wealth and taste. I've been around for a long, long year, stole many a mans soul and faith.

I visit abandoned places. I take nothing but photos and leave nothing but footprints. That is all.

The Blog, the Gallery, the "Design" and almost everything else on this site is self-made from scratch. Here are some resources I used:

• Page background and DistrictNoir logo textures are based on Stained Concrete #1216 from Grunge Textures.
• The Font used for the DistrictNoir logo is Federation Hull by an unknown author.
• The Font used in headlines, links and navigation items is Capture it by Koczman Bálint a.k.a. Cpr.Sparhelt. It was made web font ready with Font Squirrel's @font-face Generator.
• Effects and Animations are powered by jQuery with jQuery Tools.

All of the photos and graphics were edited with some combination of The GIMP, UFRaw, Qtpfsgui, Picturenaut and Hugin, all of which are FREE software in one sense of the word or another.
