No idea what this was used for. But it looked impressive.

Was it in a locomotive cab somewhere? Seems like it was probably just a source of light at night, perhaps. Not sure why they would need light for any other reason.

The whole assembly looked more like a control panel and was attached to a much bigger metal device, approximately 3 meters high, round and with cooling fins. Maybe a transformer or electric motor.

Steam Train Depot

An abandoned Steam Train Depot full of trains and carriages from days long gone. Most of them in great condition, ready for a museum. First half of a weekend in Belgium with as little luggage as my camera backpack would hold.
