General Aviation Terminal

The General Aviation Terminal (GAT) is located behind a side entrance. It was the first part of the airport that was used for civil flight, after the Americans had established their airbase in the rest of the airport.

Tempelhof

The grand finale of the Berlin Trip was the Airport Berlin-Tempelhof. Once the largest building on planet Earth, it is considered to be the mother of all modern airports. It was shut down in 2008 but is now far from abandoned, so the best way to explore it is by paying for a tour.
