Inside one of the many shelters. The walls are decorated with poems and illustrations by Wilhelm Bush to calm down the kids who would sit down here for days while the city was under attack.

Tempelhof

The grand finale of the Berlin Trip was the Airport Berlin-Tempelhof. Once the largest building on planet Earth, it is considered to be the mother of all modern airports. It was shut down in 2008 but is now far from abandoned, so the best way to explore it is by paying for a tour.
