From the pillars on the left to the end on the right, the roof spans about 40m and allows planes with a height of up to 12m to park under it.


The grand finale of the Berlin Trip was the Airport Berlin-Tempelhof. Once the largest building on planet Earth, it is considered to be the mother of all modern airports. It was shut down in 2008 but is now far from abandoned, so the best way to explore it is by paying for a tour.
