Unfinished Stairway

As the Nazis needed more and more resources for the war, they stopped the construction of the airport before everything was completed. Even until today nobody completed construction and the bare brickwork can be seen a couple of the airport's normally hidden parts.

Tempelhof

The grand finale of the Berlin Trip was the Airport Berlin-Tempelhof. Once the largest building on planet Earth, it is considered to be the mother of all modern airports. It was shut down in 2008 but is now far from abandoned, so the best way to explore it is by paying for a tour.
